Private journeys
Every trip we run is bespoke. This is how.
No departures, no group to join and no catalogue. Just a route written for the people travelling, and the same person looking after it from the first email to the last transfer.
One
A conversation
Half an hour, by phone or email, whichever you prefer. We ask about the trip you are imagining and, more usefully, about the ones you have disliked. There is no charge and nothing is booked.
Two
A first shape
Within a day you get an outline: a route, a rhythm, the properties we have in mind and a real price. Not a brochure, and not a login to a portal. A document written for you.
Three
As many rewrites as it takes
Almost nobody accepts the first version, and they are not supposed to. This is the part where the trip becomes yours. There is still no deposit at this stage.
Four
Confirmation
Once it is right, we confirm and take payment, and you receive the booking conditions in writing. Everything is held in your name.
Five
While you travel
You have a direct line to the person who wrote the itinerary, for the whole trip, in your time zone and theirs. Flights move and roads close; that is what the line is for.
Who this suits.
- Two to six people travelling together
- Anniversaries, honeymoons and significant birthdays
- Families where the ages genuinely differ
- Returning visitors who have already done the circuit
- Anyone with a fixed month and no fixed destination
And who it does not
If you want the cheapest possible fortnight, a fixed group departure, or a fourteen-stop itinerary that never sleeps twice in one bed, we are the wrong studio and will say so early. There are good operators who do all three.
Free, and there is no deposit until the itinerary is right.
